Our players and families are giving back to help impoverished children around the world play softball and other sports. Patriot Softball is partnering with the charity Sports Gift to collect and recycle gently used sports equipment which is distributed to youth programs around the world serving impoverished children. Let’s gather up our used softball gear to help kids play softball!

El Sauzal, Mexico
The town of El Sauzal is about 15 minutes north of En- senada in Baja, Mexico. Though the town does not have much to provide for its youth, the children remain happy and eager to learn. The city is very small and most parents fish for a living. The kids play in the dirty streets and live in humble homes and the city is unable to provide them with positive activities. Sports Gift provides softball equipment and uniforms to help the community operate a girl’s softball league with the goal to get children ages 6 to 14 off the dirt streets and onto the softball diamond. The softball league gives them a place to be inspired by life’s endless opportunities.

Sports Gift
The charity Sports Gift collects and recycles sports equipment to provide sports to impoverished children throughout the world and promotes community service and education through sports.

Sports Gift has distributed over 160,000 pieces of sports equipment to impoverished children all over the world including the United States, Mexico, Central and South America, Indonesia, Africa, Eastern Europe, the Middle East and the South Pacific.
